🎤 Education Moment Script (3–5 minutes)
Good morning, Our BNI Family! 🙌
In BNI, relationships follow a pattern: Visibility, Credibility, Profitability. Skip the process, and trust weakens. Honor the process, and business compounds.
Today is about using VCP on purpose instead of by accident.
🔹 Visibility: Be Known for Something Specific
Visibility is not just showing up. Visibility is being remembered clearly.
If Members can’t quickly describe what you do and who you help, your visibility is incomplete.
Your goal in early-stage relationships is simple: consistency, clarity, and positive interactions. Be the person who arrives prepared, contributes, and communicates clearly.
You are building recognition before you ask for trust.
🔹 Credibility: Demonstrate, Don’t Declare
Many Members tell people they are great. Credibility is when others say it for you.
You build credibility through delivery, follow-up, and reliability:
- Do what you said you would do.
- Respond promptly.
- Show up the same way every week.
- Share useful education and referrals.
One testimonial from a trusted Member is stronger than ten claims from your own mouth.
Credibility is earned in small moments that repeat.
🔹 Profitability: Invite Business Naturally
Profitability is not a sales push. It is the natural result of visibility plus credibility.
When those first two stages are strong, business conversations feel appropriate, not awkward.
At this stage, ask clearly for what you want:
- “Who do you know that fits this exact profile?”
- “Could you introduce me to this specific type of decision-maker?”
People are happy to open doors when trust is already established.
If profitability feels hard, check whether visibility and credibility were fully built first.
🔹 A Quick Reminder / Why This Matters
VCP is the long game and the smart game. It protects relationships while producing better results.
This week, identify one relationship in each stage: visibility, credibility, and profitability. Then take one action to move each relationship forward intentionally.
Referral success is rarely random. It is usually the result of Members who respect the process and stay consistent with it. Let’s keep doing that together. 💙 Spencer Reynolds

We were reminded that business in BNI grows in a sequence, not by skipping steps.
