Good morning, Our BNI Family! 🙌

Every Chapter feels the rhythm of the year. Some weeks feel full of energy. Some weeks feel distracted. Vacations, back-to-school schedules, summer habits, and business travel can make August feel like a waiting room before September.

But here is the truth: August is not a month to coast. August is a launchpad. The Chapters that finish summer with intention are the Chapters that surge into fall with momentum already built.

🔹 Momentum Is a Choice

A summer slowdown usually does not happen all at once. It happens one small choice at a time: one missed 1-to-1, one vague Weekly Presentation, one Visitor we meant to invite but never called, one follow-up we delayed until next week.

A Chapter surge is built the same way, one small choice at a time. Members show up early. Members invite one person. Members ask for specific referrals. Members follow up before the week gets away from them.

The difference is not talent. It is intention.

🔹 Three Moves for an August Surge

• Book one strategic 1-to-1 with someone who can help you reach a fall referral opportunity.
• Invite one Visitor who would bring fresh energy into Our BNI Family.
• Use your Weekly Presentation to ask for one specific introduction, not a general category.

These are simple actions, but simple does not mean small. If every Member made these three moves in August, September would feel completely different.

🔹 Protect the Room

Momentum is also protected by how we show up for each other. When the room is full, alert, welcoming, and prepared, Visitors feel it. Members feel it. The meeting has lift.

When Members arrive late, leave early, or mentally check out, the room feels heavier. Our BNI Family deserves better than autopilot.

🔹 Your Challenge This Week

Choose one action before you leave today: schedule the 1-to-1, send the invitation, or rewrite next week’s Weekly Presentation with a sharper ask.
