🎤 Education Moment Script (3–5 minutes)
Good morning, Our BNI Family! 🙌
Renewal season is more than an admin milestone. It is a leadership moment. Renewing your membership is a decision about identity, contribution, and long-term growth.
The question is not just “Am I renewing?” The better question is “How am I showing up in my next year?”
🔹 Renewal Is a Strategic Decision
Too many Members evaluate renewal based on a short window of recent results.
A better evaluation asks:
- Have I built the right relationships?
- Have I used the system fully?
- Have I stayed consistent in core activities?
- Have I improved my referral skills?
BNI rewards consistency over time. The Members who lean in, learn, and adapt usually see compounding returns.
Renewal is committing to that process.
🔹 Stay for Contribution, Not Just Consumption
The strongest Members renew with a contribution mindset. They ask, “How can I help Our BNI Family grow stronger this year?”
That mindset changes everything:
- You prepare better.
- You refer more intentionally.
- You mentor newer Members.
- You protect chapter standards.
Ironically, Members who contribute most often receive the strongest business outcomes over time.
Givers Gain is not a slogan. It is a practical growth strategy.
🔹 Define Your Next-Year Commitment
Before you renew, define three commitments for your next BNI year:
- One relationship commitment (ex: monthly strategic 1-to-1s)
- One visibility commitment (ex: sharper weekly asks)
- One leadership commitment (ex: mentor or support a chapter role)
Put those commitments in writing and share them with an accountability partner in Our BNI Family.
Clarity turns renewal into action.
🔹 A Quick Reminder / Why This Matters
You are not in BNI by accident. You are here because relationship-based growth works when done consistently and intentionally.
This week, if you are renewing, renew with purpose. If you recently renewed, recommit with clarity.
Your next year can be your strongest year if you lead it, not drift through it. Thank you for the standard you set and the relationships you build. 💙 Spencer Reynolds
