Good morning, BNI Family! 🙌
This week we’re focusing on our second Core Value — Building Relationships.

Here’s the truth: people don’t do business with people they know of… they do business with people they know, like, and trust. That trust doesn’t happen instantly — it’s built through consistency, reliability, and genuine connection.

In BNI, relationships are the foundation of everything. The more you invest in understanding your fellow Members — their goals, their clients, their “why” — the easier it becomes to spot opportunities for them.

Here’s how to strengthen relationships inside your Chapter:

1️⃣ Schedule regular One-to-Ones. These are your secret weapon. Every One-to-One deepens trust, expands understanding, and leads to more meaningful referrals.

2️⃣ Use your GAINS Exchange. Don’t skip this step! Sharing your Goals, Accomplishments, Interests, Networks, and Skills builds real human connection — beyond just business.

3️⃣ Show up for others. Attend Chapter events, socials, and trainings. Presence equals trust. When people see your consistency, they remember your name when opportunity strikes.

4️⃣ Celebrate others’ wins. Nothing strengthens relationships like genuine recognition. A quick “congratulations” post or message builds goodwill that lasts.

5️⃣ Follow through on your promises. Every time you do what you said you would, you reinforce reliability — and reliability is what makes referrals flow.

💡 Pro Tip:
Start a “relationship challenge” this month: set a goal to have one One-to-One with every Member of your Chapter before the end of the quarter. You’ll be amazed how much stronger your connections become — and how many referrals start to follow.

Remember: referrals are simply the byproduct of relationships done right.
