Good morning, BNI Family! 🙌
This week we’re focusing on Inviting Made Simple — because the easiest way to grow our Chapter and help more people is by inviting others to experience the power of BNI.
Why this matters:
Inviting isn’t about selling a membership — it’s about sharing an opportunity. When you invite someone to visit our Chapter, you’re offering them a chance to grow their business, expand their network, and join a community that genuinely wants them to succeed.
Keep it simple — that’s the key.
We follow the GRIP formula when inviting:
- G – Grow your business. Are you interested in growing your business?
“I know you’re always looking to grow your business — I’d love to introduce you to some people who could help.” - R – Referrals. Are referrals part of your growth plan?
“Our group is all about generating referrals for each other — it’s not just networking, it’s structured success.” - I – Introduce. Would having a solid referral relationship with a ___ be a valuable introduction for you?
“Let me introduce you to one of our Members who might be a great connection for you.” - P – Place/Time.
“We meet Thursday mornings at 7:30 at [Venue Name]. Can you join me this week or next?”
Pro tips for inviting:
- Keep your invitation conversational — not scripted.
- Focus on what’s in it for them, not what’s in it for you.
- Remember: inviting is part of giving — and every new Member strengthens the entire Chapter’s referral network.
- A “no” doesn’t mean never — it just means not now. Follow up later.
- Invite with SPONSORSHIP as the goal, yes, you can ask anyone, but focus your efforts on those needed professionals in your Chapter!
When every Member brings one or two visitors a month, our Chapter grows naturally, and everyone benefits from more energy, more connections, and more referrals.
