Week 50 (September 8 – September 14, 2025)
Introduction
“Good morning, everyone! The BNI Tampa Annual Summit is just around the corner, on Monday, September 15th, and now is the time to get ready to make the most of this exciting event. Whether you’re attending for the first time or you’re a returning leader, the Annual Summit is an incredible opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. Let’s discuss how we can prepare effectively for the event to ensure we leave with valuable insights and actionable takeaways.”
Body
“Here are three ways to prepare for the upcoming Leadership Conference:
1. Set clear goals – Before you attend, think about what you want to get out of the conference. Are you looking to improve your leadership skills, network with other leaders, or gather strategies to enhance your Chapter’s success? Setting clear goals will help you stay focused and get the most value from the event.
2. Network with intention – The Annual Summit brings together leaders from across the region. Be prepared to meet new people, exchange ideas, and build relationships that can lead to future collaborations and referrals. Bring business cards and be ready to connect.
3. Prepare questions – Conferences are an excellent time to ask questions and get advice from experienced leaders. Think about challenges you’ve faced in your leadership role and prepare a few questions to ask during sessions or when talking to other attendees. This ensures you walk away with practical solutions.”
Example
“Last year, one of our Members attended the Annual Summit with the goal of learning more about how to engage Chapter Members. By asking specific questions during the sessions and networking with other leaders, they walked away with new strategies that increased engagement in their Chapter and boosted referrals for their business!”
Conclusion
“The Annual Summit is a valuable opportunity for growth and development. By setting goals, networking with intention, and preparing thoughtful questions, we can ensure we’re ready to get the most out of the event. Let’s all prepare to attend the Annual Summit for some great food, amazing networking, and bring back ideas that will strengthen our Chapter!”
