“Good morning, everyone! Today, we’re going to focus on the importance of inviting visitors to our upcoming ACTivate events. These events are key opportunities to grow our Chapter by bringing in new faces and sharing the value of BNI. Inviting visitors is an essential part of our success, and the more we invite, the more our Chapter thrives.”

“Inviting visitors doesn’t have to be complicated, especially when you use the GRIP method:

1. G for Grow – Explain how BNI helps businesses grow through trusted referrals and strong relationships.

2. R for Referrals – Highlight how BNI Members give and receive referrals, leading to more business opportunities.

3. I for Introduce – Invite the potential visitor to come and experience a BNI meeting firsthand, allowing them to see the process in action.

4. P for Place/Time – Make sure to provide the exact place and time of the event so they know when and where to show up. Be clear and confident in your invitation.

Additionally, ACTivate events are a perfect time to invite key community figures, such as local business leaders, nonprofit heads, and even the mayor. Their involvement can lead to strong connections and raise the profile of our Chapter.”
