“BNI isn’t just about generating referrals; it’s about building a thriving business community. As a leader, you set the tone for your Chapter (aren’t we all leaders after all). Here are three critical actions for effective leadership:

1. Lead by Example – Your actions set the standard. Whether it’s showing up on time, preparing presentations, or initiating One-to-Ones, others will follow your lead.

2. Foster Collaboration – Create a culture of collaboration, especially within PowerTeams. When Members work together, everyone benefits.

3. Encourage Accountability – Set clear expectations and hold Members accountable, but always offer the support they need to succeed. Accountability is key for maintaining engagement.”
