“Your elevator pitch should be concise, clear, and engaging. It’s your chance to make a strong first impression. Here’s how to craft an effective elevator pitch using these three key tips:

1. Keep it short and focused – Your pitch should be no longer than 30 seconds. Focus on the core of what you do and how you help others. This keeps the listener’s attention and ensures they remember you.

2. Explain your value – Don’t just say what you do—explain how it benefits others. For example, instead of saying ‘I’m a financial advisor,’ you could say, ‘I help individuals and businesses create financial plans that build wealth and security.’

3. End with a call to action – Encourage the person to take the next step. You could say, ‘If you know someone looking to secure their financial future, I’d love an introduction.’ This helps keep the conversation going and opens the door for referrals.”
