“Good morning, everyone! Today, we’re going to talk about the concept of PowerTeams and how they can help our Chapter grow. PowerTeams are groups of Members in complementary industries who can work together to pass more referrals to each other. When we focus on building and leveraging PowerTeams, we create stronger referral networks and a more successful Chapter.”

“PowerTeams help us maximize referral potential because the businesses involved naturally support each other. Here are three ways we can leverage PowerTeams for Chapter growth:
1. Identify complementary industries – The first step is recognizing which Members in our Chapter belong to similar or complementary industries. For example, a real estate agent, mortgage broker, and home inspector make up a natural PowerTeam.
2. Collaborate strategically – Once we’ve identified the Members who make up a PowerTeam, it’s time to start collaborating. Meet regularly to discuss target clients, marketing strategies, and how you can refer to each other.
3. Present as a team – During our weekly presentations, PowerTeams can support each other by highlighting how their services are interconnected. When visitors see the synergy between Members, they’re more likely to engage and refer.”
